With over 20 years in healthcare, I have been focusing on primary health at West Texas Medical Center in Denver City, Texas. In 2016, I opened The Beauty Bar Health and Wellness to help offer services focused on preventative health and maintenance as well as pampering to those of us who can never get out of town due to work, kids, or life in our West Texas and South Eastern New Mexico Community. My family practice as well as the wellness clinic and spa have been very personal to me. Over the years I have been taking care of my friends I grew up with, their children, and the people who helped raise me. I feel to stay healthy there has to be a healthy mind, body, and spirit and I try to look at my patients wholistically. With patients from Lubbock, Seminole, Plains, Hobbs, Lovington, and Ruidoso, we have had the pleasure to build a patient base that can rely on our practice to pay attention to details, be collaborative with other providers as well as understand and offer the most advanced treatments, education and nutraceuticals that are available. 2020 was a big year for me and my staff as we took a leap and conjoined our family practice and wellness clinic locations as one. With the idea of just making healthcare more “personal,” I want to do it different. I want to take care of a fewer amount of people and do it well!

Hey everyone! I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner excited to start a new journey at the Beauty Bar Health & Wellness clinic here in Denver City! I am most interested in working with women’s health and pediatrics, but I have experience working with all ages and diseases. I’m always looking forward to learning new things and procedures. I believe that healthcare is MOST important in the prevention phase, and I look forward to creating individual care plans for my patients in order to get the most out of life by avoiding preventable diseases. If you’ve already been diagnosed with a medical condition, I will work with you directly to create a care plan to best manage your disease process individually while closely monitoring for any changes requiring interventions. Everyone’s body works differently, so why use the same method to obtain the goal for multiple people? What works for one person, isn’t guaranteed to work for everyone else. Care plans must be individualized, and that’s what I promise to do for your health care. “

I am excited to be a part of the team!. With 30+ years in healthcare experience assisting others in their times of need, I believe in treating the whole person to achieve a state of wellness compared to just treating symptoms of dieseas and unwellness. I have provided unique services all over West Texas and in to North Texas as well. I have previous experience as an Emergency Service Paramedic for the City of Lubbock as well as the county for 8 years. My hospital experience ranged from women’s services to med/surg and step-down ICU and ER. My outside hospital experience includes hospice and home health. As an FNP I have provided care to in-home and assisted-living facilities to meet the needs of the geriatric community and their families. It has been a privilege serving many by assessing their needs to remain in their homes and coordinating with their primary care provider. I am looking forward to yet another adventure in acquiring further knowledge, skills and friendships while being a part of Beauty Bar Health & Wellness. We have assembled a diverse staff for managing many beauty, health & wellness concerns in a wonderfully professional and caring way for all to grow in their perspective fields of endeavor.

I have been a Nurse Practitioner for nearly 22 years. I graduated Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2000 and quickly fell in love with Cardiology. I worked for a private Cardiology group for 10 years before I moved to the greater Houston area where I pursued Internal Medicine and Family Medicine. After a 10 year hiatus away from Lubbock my family and I decided to relocate back. My husband and I have been blessed with 4 beautiful children in our 28 year marriage. I am very excited to embark on this new journey with Beauty Bar Wellness. Jonna has assembled a team of health care providers and ancillary staff that I know will be an asset to Lubbock and its surrounding areas. I am very excited to be a part of this team and look forward to what the future holds for Beauty Bar Wellness.

Hi, I'm Megan. I'm the clinical practice manager at Beauty Bar Health & Wellness. I am a born and raised west Texas girl. I have been in healthcare for the last 8 years and love taking care of people. I can't wait to grow our two Beauty Bar Clinics. I will be around to answer any questions or concerns you may have about our practice and make sure you consistently get the best care! I will also be doing all your IV’s - mobile and in clinic, along with blood draws!

Hi, y’all! Im a Certified Flight Paramedic and Nationally Registered Paramedic. I have been in EMS/Healthcare for around 12 years with 7 of those years being a paramedic and over 4 of those years flying. I will be doing your blood draws and IV infusions, along with working along the Nurse Practitioners in clinic to assist them in other procedures! I wholeheartedly believe in treating patients from the inside out, whatever those needs be. I love working on this side of things and getting to sit down and bond, build relationships with patients, and get to know their needs on an individual level. You are not alone in this journey and it is our absolute joy and passion to serve you and help you not feel alone in bettering your health!
